There are quite a few options available for monitoring your heart rate but this might be the best. The Kardia Portable EKG ($99) can get a medical-grade EKG in about 30 seconds by simply placing your fingertips on the sensors. Great for a quick check to see if your heart rhythm is normal of if atrial fibrillation is defected. The sensor not only monitors your heart rate (via an iOS or Android app) but it can also store it for sharing with your doctor. Video of the Kardia in action after the break.
