Colgate has joined the electronic toothbrush market with their latest “smart” toothbrush. The Colgate Smart Electronic Toothbrush E1 ($99) is available today and is actually selling at Apple stores, on and offline.
The brushing style is similar to the Sonicare lineup and uses sonic vibrating technology. The Colgate smart electric toothbrush has embedded intelligence which synchs with the Colgate Connect app. It uses this intelligence to provide 3D brushing models for showing where you have missed. The app is available for iOS and even works on the Apple Watch. For the kids, and adults I suppose, there are even teeth brushing games that encourage better brushing habits.
